| | The Educational Services Division encompasses several service areas:- course planning
- course certification
- instructional supervision
- student services
- grant projects
- staff development for certificated staff
Course offerings are based on student interest and labor market opportunities. Instructional supervisors work with the district principals to create programs which fit campus academies and pathways. Courses offered at the Education Center target adult learning needs.
All courses offered are approved by the Joint Board of Trustees and Certified by the California Department of Education. Courses are competency-based, and where applicable, prepare students for state or national certification examinations. Click here for the course catalog.
Three Program Managers oversee all courses on the high school campuses and the Education Center. At least one Program Manager is on duty at all times when classes are in session.
The Educational Services Divison includes the Student Services Department. Through the Career Center at the Educational Center and ROL/Career Centers on each high school campus, the Student Services Department provides the following valuable services:- Career assessment
- Guidance
- Work readiness workshops
The Student Services Department also administers the following programs:- CalWORKS Summer Youth Program
- WIA Youth Program for students residing within the Rowland Unified School District service area
- WIA Adult and Dislocated Worker Program
