| | The Public Safety Services Department is responsible for various training classes leading to employment in:- security
- law enforcement
- corrections
- forensic technology
Our security classes are certified through the California Bureau of Investigative and Security Services and include the following:- Guard Card
- Firearms Permit
- Baton
Our mandated 40-hour curriculum has been submitted and approved by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Service (BSIS). We offer more than 25 classes in public safety including:- Executive Protection
- Homeland Security
- Chemical Agents
- Weaponless Defense
- Computer Forensics
- First Aid
- CPR
- Cultural Diversity
- School Security (Education Code 38001.5)
La Puente Valley ROP Public Safety Classes are well known throughout the security community. We have been in operation for over 26 years. We make a point to listen carefully to our security advisory board. The board is responsible for reviewing and approving the course offerings. | |
