 What is CTE?
| CTE is career technical education that provides students the opportunities to learn valuable skills in an occupation. ROP - CTE classes are taught by credentialed instructors from business industry. ROP instructors teach skilled based learning in the classroom and combine hands-on activities where students can apply what they learn.

 Why CTE?
| Numerous reports and research have been conducted validating the importance for combining career technical education and academics. This research has continually demonstrated that CTE improves graduation rates, provides successful transition from college to work and adequately prepares young adults to meet the needs of employer expectations.  What is Multiple Pathway/Linked Learning?
A multiple pathway is a program of study that involves a multi-year sequence of courses that integrates core academic knowledge with technical and occupational knowedge to provide students with a pathway to postsecondary education and careers.
Linked Learning is a strategy that prepares students to graduate from high school and succeed in a full range of postsecondary options- including two- or four-year colleges, certification programs, apprenticeships, military service, or formal job training.

 What is the Multiple Pathways/Linked Learning Approach?
The Multiple Pathway/Linked Learning Approach is a multiyear, comprehensive high school program of integrated academic and career technical study that is organized around a broad theme, interest area, or industry sector.
The Multiple Pathways/Linked Learning approach has the potential to make high school a more cohesive and engaging experience for students and improve a wide range of student outcomes; expanding student options & opportunities.
